Camping & Jeeping

Before becoming parents, one of our traditional summer trips was jeeping in Moab with our friends. The desert is a favorite place of ours. The views are breathtaking & the jeep trails exciting. I (Becca) would add that the trails are frightening at times, but it is amazing to watch the 4X4s work. There's nothing quite like watching the tires on your car flex in four different directions. We have great memories of these trips and can't wait to get back there again.

Our Wedding Day

We were married on a cold, clear winter day. It was beautiful and we were thrilled to share the day with so many of our loved ones.
Jeremy surprised Becca with a honeymoon to Jackson Hole. She had no idea where they were going. Becca was told to prepare and pack for anything, so she did. We had a great time playing in the snow, shopping, and just kicking back to relax.

Engaged!!

Shortly after Jeremy returned from his mission we were engaged, leaving just enough time to prepare for the wedding. We couldn't wait to start our lives together. We had big plans which included further education, a family, a home of our own, traveling, and anything else we could fit into the equation.

July celebration & tradition

Tradition, tradition, tradition. This pic shows Becca with her family & it even includes their wonderful Grandma. What a great & crazy bunch, huh?
Becca's grandma usually hosts a BBQ for the extended family on the 4th of July.

Jeremy's Family

Jeremy's family + in-laws. We're all very different people, but all great! It doesn't happen often, but we have a great time when we get together. It's usually not the entire crew (siblings, spouses & kids) but we'll take what we can get. A short weekend here, a trip to Disney there, an unexpected stay due to weather, a drop in while driving through town, etc. There's just nothing quite like family.

post high school Becca

After high school Rebecca was off for adventure. Things started with a family road trip covering much of the west and mid-west. She was taken by Colorado's beautiful landscapes. In the fall she left for Virginia to begin her college studies. Although she stayed for just one semester, she fell in love with the area and will always treasure her time there. Rebecca returned to Utah where she later completed her associates and met some of her best friends.

Jeremy & the mission

After high school graduation Jeremy worked for several months. That fall he left to serve a voluntary mission for the LDS church. He served in Ukraine for two years. While there Jeremy learned to speak Russian and he got to know and love the people & their culture.

Suprise Visit!

At summer's end Rebecca left for Virginia, so our courtship moved to phone, letters and email. We didn't expect to see one another until after Jeremy's mission; however, Becca was able to throw in one HUGE surprise before he left. She flew home for fall break & surprised Jeremy at a friend's home. He was blown away & we really enjoyed spending some time together before going our separate ways.

First Date

Our first date was the last dance of our high school senior year. It was a girl's choice dance. To further clarify, this means that Rebecca asked Jeremy at the last possible minute. We doubled with two of our best friends, Jane & Aaron. That night started a summer which was filled with more dates, greater friendship, and growing interests in one another.

Becca

Rebecca kept busy in high school. She was in the marching band during the summer of her freshman year and then joined the drill team and dance company for the subsequent years. Most of her time was spent dancing. When she wasn't at practice or some performance she was either teaching dance at a local studio or putting together choreography with the other team captains. In addition to dance Rebecca also worked part-time at a local sandwich & frozen yogurt joint.

Jeremy

During high school Jeremy worked full-time and was on the soccer team. He enjoyed skiing, hiking, backpacking, and taking road trips with his friends. They spent much of their time outdoors.

Little Becca

Growing up Rebecca loved to dance and play outside with her best friend and cousin Derek. They were lucky enough to live next door to one another and their grandparents were just one house down.
